As a Srilankan person who eats spicy food this is not for you. I bought a couple of dishes and I am pretty sure the owner ripped me off. I would never pay $72.00 for such a tastless bland tasting food. The food is not good at all and indian and spicy cuisine is for spices for ginger and tomato representing each and every single dish. Especially in Maine where Lobster is the speciality it would not be worth it to eat this ever again.

I am a Sri Lankan and my sons and I really enjoyed the food. We ordered mixed rice, wild boar 🐗, goat meat, rice and curry and pol rotti. Their liquor prices are one of the lowest. Good service

If you want to eat in, a reservation is a must! Small quaint restaurant and since it's small hardly is there a day where you don't have to wait for a minimum of hour for a table. The service is great, and very personal. But the pricing maybe on the high side, especially the appetizers. The entrés are worth it and sufficient for two grown-up folks 😃 Loved the authenticity of the food and the atmosphere.

This restaurant is so fake that they do not even have Tandoor to offer authentic Naan Bread. The fake Naan taste like rubber are offered at ridiculous price of $7.00 each ?? The food taste is average & Srilankan cook is very defensive with customers. Stay away & avoid bad experience.

There Sri Lankan curry is super tasty! The lamb options are super good but things can be a little pricey. It was good for the occasional drop in sit down. Polite service.

Get the eggplant side dish and the Sri Lankan special!!Everything else is good too.

We tried the free range wild boar with coconut bread. Absolutely fantastic and the flavors are spot on!

Best stop of the day. Late lunch. Epic food, friendly service, prompt delivery. Blow up your taste buds and check this place out - you will NOT be disappointed. My highest recommendation.

Serendib offers some refreshing diversity to cuisine of this area. I thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and will be returning.

Best Restaurant in Ellsworth. I will encourage tourists I come across to eat there if they are driving through to Bar Harbor.
